Configuration/Installation:
  1. Install Waste using the wizard. Make a new key during startup (I reccomend using the maximum level of encryption)
  2. Launch/run waste.
  3. Open main dialog then go to files->preferences.
  4. Go to Identity: Change your nickname to your name you will be known by.
  5. Go to Network: Change your port to the one that is used by the server.
  6. Go to Network->Password: Change your port to the one that is used by the server.
  7. Go to Network->Password: Change your stealth mode to be the same as the server.
  8. Go to Network->Public Keys: Click 'Add'. If you are updating first highlight all the current certificates / public keys and hit 'Remove'.
  9. In the Add Dialog you can point to a file (if one is on your hard drive). Or you can point to a web server if the Waste Admin has set up a certificate/public key supository like seen in the picture.
  10. You will then see a notification on how many imported keys are found. The inported public certificates / keys will then be listed.
  11. In the 'Network Status' window, type in the address with the port number and hit enter (or connect icon).
